Ward Thomas are gearing up to wow fans at two special festive shows this December. The record breaking British country music duo consisting of 23-year-old twin sisters Catherine and Lizzy will be playing the G Live in Guildford on the 6th of December and the following day they will be performing at the Sage Gateshead in Newcastle.
The two special shows will see the girls performing a selection of tracks off their debut album ‘From Where We Stand‘, record breaking number 1 sophomore LP ‘Cartwheels‘, Christmas covers, and tracks off their upcoming third album which is due for release early next year.
During their tour this past year Ward Thomas premiered two songs off their third LP. Both songs were loved by fans and critics alike and showcased the variety listeners can expect from the new record, with ‘I Believe In You’ being an up-tempo folk infused hit, and ‘Breathe In’ a stunning, stripped back country ballad.
And now the sisters have shared a snipped of a third song that will feature on their 2018 release. The snippet was posted on their social media channels and shows them singing the gorgeous mid-tempo ballad A Capella. Fans will be able to hear the beautiful track in full at the Guildford and Newcastle gigs next month;
Tickets for Ward Thomas’ G Live and Sage Gateshead concerts are on sale now! The twins have also been announced as a headline act at next years Cambridge Folk’s City Roots Festival, tickets for which go on sale November 20th.
