He developed a passion for music at a younger age, was consistent throughout his career, and became one of the most sought-after rappers.

Magoo was known as one half of the hip-hop duo Timbaland & Magoo. His career started in 1989 when he met Timbaland as a teenager.

Magoo and Timbaland frequently worked with fellow Swing Mob members, including Missy Elliott, Ginuwine, Playa, and Aaliyah, across their careers.

Sadly, Timbaland’s former rap partner has reportedly passed away. He’s believed to have died on Sunday, August 13, 2023, at the age of 50.

At this time of writing, the cause of his death has yet not been made public, and neither has his family nor Timbaland officially released a statement.

The sad news of his death was confirmed by Digital Black, of the group Playa in a post shared on Instagram.

In 2021, Blackground Records and Empire Distribution teamed up to re-release the whole Timbaland & Magoo catalog, which also included Timb’s Tim’s Bio: Life from the Basement LP that initially dropped in 1998.
